There are hundreds of examples of articles, memes, and photographs that are said to be true but aren’t or that seem to be untrue, but are actually true. Ask students to be aware of these and bring examples to class.

There are also examples of videos that have been edited to change viewers’ perceptions of truth. Students might be interested in researching deepfake videos to demonstrate this. (Possible resource: The Deep Fake)
